CORONAVIRUS UPDATE – TEMPORARY CLOSURE

CORONAVIRUS UPDATE – TEMPORARY CLOSURE

To all our clients and friends,

Allow us first to say that our thoughts are with you and your families right now as we attempt to navigate this crazy and unprecedented world we have been plunged into. For now at least, we are faced with a stark reminder of just how small our world really is and the seriousness of the responsibility we have to protect our communities in times of crisis.
Look guys, we’re not going to offer up some copy and pasted ‘Covid’ language business update. The truth is that we are watching the same news as you. The current situation with Coronavirus is very frightening and constantly changing and, frankly, we at Victor Mee Auctions just want to do the right thing.
While no-one is totally sure what the “right” thing is, at the end of the day we feel that certainly the most effective thing we can do to try to keep our team, our customers and our community safe from the spread of the virus is to follow Government advice and temporarily close our saleroom doors. It is not a joyful decision to make, but though we’re hugely disappointed to cease operations for now, the priority is absolutely the health and safety of our patrons and the wider community. These are times to look after each other. We are committed to doing our part to flatten the curve and slow this thing down. And so, like you, we’re just going to go quiet for a little while.
We don’t know what tomorrow will bring. We cannot offer a re-opening date as of yet. We do, however, promise to continually reassess the situation and keep you in the loop of our plans (of which there will be many, rest assured in that). We sincerely thank all of you, our buyers, vendors and members of our local community for the ongoing support and trust in Victor Mee Auctions.
Folks, we are beside you in this. We are united in this. We will make it through.
If you need us, we remain here for you. We’ll come back to you as soon as we can – info@victormeeauctions.ie
We wish you happiness and health. Stay safe, call your loved ones, be kind to yourselves.
